Morally speaking, if I was finding it unacceptable then it would mean I'm trying to limit her freedom, which sounds really really bad to me, for both of us lol

Realistically speaking, I haven't been with someone wanting to go to places, with me being present, where she could find herself dancing with a stranger. So it's hard for me to visualize the matter, I could feel funny maybe? But that hypothetical feeling must not interfere with what I find right. What I find right is to not interfere with her freedom, so that's it.

In my opinion, dance is physically intimate. And it's obvious why seeing your partner dance with someone else of the opposite sex makes the majority of people jealous. I state my opinion about dancing with the opposite sex (unless it's their father or something) at the beginning of a relationship. If they can't accept that it would bother me and respect that, then they're not the girl for me.

It is polite to dance with a man when he asks, but after you've done this twice you can say to the rest of the guys, “I'm sorry, but thank you.”

You can also say, “I'm sorry, I'm with someone,” and not have to dance with anyone else.

Depends. If its just a normal polite conversation and a dance its fine but if its flirting and grinding while ignoring you its not ok.

Now from experience if she is that kind of girl whom you can not trust to be loyal thats just who she is whether its acceptable to you or not so ultimately you may view her as a short term girlfriend and not someone you could maybe marry and have kids with one day.

I see nothing wrong with her dancing with other people in public like if we’re all in a big dance I expect somebody will ask to dance with her at some point and that’s cool. I’m chill even if it’s kind of dirty dancing. Absolutely fine. I attend a club with latin dance nights and everybody dances with everybody else. That's typical for dance groups, whether it's salsa, swing, tango, whatever.

@Asker Culture, lifestyle, and relationship status are the main three factors to determine if it’s okay or not. Some cultures are heavily influenced/involve dancing, some people’s life style require dancing in the regular be it from an occupation/social function, and some relationships just need that level of trust/maturity/compromise.
