Would you rather someone choose you out of all the options they have or choose you because you’re the best option?

Let’s say example. Someone whose out of your league in your mind… picks you. Despite having a lot of other options.

Or…. You’re someone’s best option. Meaning. You’re the most attractive, have the most money, etc.

I would rather have someone that’s genuinely into me then pick me because I’m just the best they can find. Because I know…. They will probably leave.

of course anyone would rather choose someone for who you are... but what happens when you get old and ugly? would anyone still choose you as first choice if you aren't physically attractive?

I can tell you that you have no dating experience if you think that the "best option" is ranked by purely by attractiveness or money. No amount of money or attractiveness can buy ACTUAL LOVE.

It depends on the situation. Some people…. Think that way. Narcissists and people who can’t make genuine connections.

The issue is…. Okay someone can be a second option. But… BUT…. If you build a genuine bond and connection. You won’t see them that way anymore, and even if the person you wanted before came along. You wouldn’t leave your current partner.

You also won’t be seeking a better partner while in the relationship. Because you love the person you’re with. That’s different

But you have to understand…. If someone’s settled in their head. Chances are…. They will seek someone else. They will cheat. And they will eventually leave…. If and when the opportunity comes about.

I’ve had this fight with men as well as woemn on this site…. If someone picks you for money. You’re being used point blank.

Obviously if you lost your money. They would leave you…. But also… if there isn’t genuine attraction. Yeah…. They’re gonna cheat. They will also leave if they can find someone with more money. They will also drain your money.

If someone genuinely loved you. They will stay by you during financial issues and wouldn’t dump you if they could be with someone richer.

Why? Because she really isn’t with you because she’s attracted. Yes…. If a woman picks a man for money but doesn’t have romantic and/or sexual attraction towards him.

She’s gonna sleep with men who are physically, sexually, emotionally, and romantically attractive to her. Maybe she wouldn’t leave you for them and hide it…. Because she still wants your money. But that’s why.

Pick someone because they’re the most beautiful/handsome and physically fit. What happens…. Later in life even for men when looks deteriorate. And…. They find someone younger. Healthier

I would want them to think highly enough of me not see as the "well he'll do because he's polite and doesn't say much". The first would imply they have standards and i meet them rather than being suboptimal and replaceable to them if the door breaks in a relationship.
