The other day I went out on a date with this guy and he made me sit facing the interior even when I wanted to sit the other way around. Why? Is it a red flag?

Okay, a couple of dumb people in the comments must be from people pretending to be men. If a man wants you facing the interior of a restaurant, it is often part of his native protective instincts. He wants to be facing where he can watch the entrance so if danger enters he can take action.
If you think something like that is too "controlling" you will never have a good man. You will only have a weak, pathetic simp kind of "man" that lets the woman do anything she wants, no matter how it affects him, her, or their safety/lives.
If you have to ask, it's almost certainly a red flag. He's controlling and you weren't happy. Just block him.
it's controlling right?
@slatyb What an inelegant solution, block a person without even speaking with them. How rude? Just be a cultured person and say/write to him that you do not want to continue this relationship.
@_piotr Good point -- it is polite to respond if he asks for another date. Then block him. The men who behave this way often have a hard time accepting "no".
you are right, he def doesn't know how to accept no and he proved me so many times
He might be testing his ability to manipulate you.
