Is there meaning behind a guy staring at you while you eat?

Because it seems like every guy friend/s that I’ve eaten with are always staring at me, at my lips while I’m eating. Is this a common behavior for guys? In hs, this used to happen a lot during lunch and they would make certain comments because I have pretty full lips. But I thought that was just cuz teen boys are horn dogs. But it has happened with every guy that I’ve eaten with at university and church , do guys just do this regularly?
