I don't date and therefore, I cannot speak from personal experience.
However, if I had to date, then it would obviously be a place where there is a lot of other people around, just for the sake of my protection. A first date would also have to take place during daytime and be limited to no more than 60 minutes in time.
That is long enough to find out whether this person is trying to get into my pants or if he is serious about a long term relationship (20+ years).
Also, a good first date is a date where smartphones and other distractions are either left at home or securely stowed in a pocket, away from easy reach. I want to have a serious conversation on a one-to-one basis and not with a smartphone.

  That is an interesting way to look at it lol. Ofcourse I would want to make love to my partner but that is only one small part of a relationship. In fact it's very small given that you spend most of your time together not having sex. Unless that is the only reason for your relationship. At least in my opinion there is so much more I want in a relationship.

  How would you feel about a partner that does not want intimacy? How long would you remain faithful or not cheat, watch porn or manipulate your body to induce those spasms and muscular contractions?

  Not well I guess but intamacy is an essential part of relationships. Maybe not the most important but still a pillar of it.
