You can never justify cheating no matter what reasons you have. If as you say the guy you are with is so bad and so incompatible with you then leave him. End the current relationship and walk away, at least this shows your courage to do this. Instead you are staying with that terrible guy and you are cheating behind his back. That is just a cowardly act. Simple.

It is not fair towards the guy you are currently with because I am sure there will be a woman who might like him for who he is and at the same time it is not fair for you to be with that terrible guy because you clearly don't like him nor love and you are not happy. Hence both of you should actually end the relationship.

Staying in a relationship like that is a good way to let someone destroy your confidence and respect for yourself. Even saying what you just said shows that. I dont think its fair to depend on someone else to make you happy. That's why I say learn to be happy with yourself. Because loving yourself makes it easier for some one else to love you.
