Are SH scars a turn off?

i have some scars on my arms, legs, and chest. i normally hide them but i'm sort of afraid of intimacy these days because of them. if you're interested in someone or you are with them and you find these scars on their body, does it make you feel differently about them? i know most people dont want an unstable partner

I do not find it as a turn off, and look at them just like I look at a B'rith mark. A tattoo yes a big yes = turn off. This is because a Tattoo is a personal choice and desire. In your situation, it is not and any guy that dose judge you or says it is a turn off is really not worth your time anyway, because no one is perfect.

In my experience, most women are extremely self critical and think they are ugly for some reason. But really they are quite beautiful and have a lot of natural beauty. I even told my ex's they looked better without makeup.

You need to remember a true man will be attracted to you have features and qualitys he likes, not because your skin is perfect.

Do not change yourself to be liked by a guy, the right guy will like and admire you because your you. Not because what you can look like or change into. It will not matter to him that you have scars. Most people now a days think the are not good enough the way they are and need to change to be liked, this is mostly because of emotional abuse. But really you are likeable, loveable, and attractive just the way you are. You just got to find the right one for you. Yes guys are really visual when it comes to attraction, but scars will not matter to a good man because he knows your human not a Barbe dall.

So do not be shy about them because you are you, and you are human. And that is the most important thing to the right one for you.

I'd be curious about what they look like and to know their stories. I would hope it's a thing of the past and would make sure you never feel like you need to do that again. Some scars actually look good too. I have my own scars from other sources

i personally don't care as i've deal with mental health issues myself. but i'd ask why and for how long and if they don't do that anymore.
