She's a lot older than me.

She used to make comments about what I eat at work because she found it so weird that I am picky about food. I had to talk to her about how weird she was being about it.

A friend once asked if I'd ever killed someone. It took some years to understand why he asked me that. I was the only one he knew that was in the military and owned firearms. Now, in case anyone is wondering, I truthfully told him no. I was in the medical field in the Navy and a hunter, not a self defense devotee. I would use a gun to defend myself as needed, but I'm 66 and it's never come up.

Standing at train station late at nite a stranger approaches , he is an old and slight of a man so I’m quite relaxed.

He stands closer than I feel appropriate saying nothing at all while he gently scuffs his feet on the tarmac beneath his brogues.

Seeing with my side-eye , he turns his head to me with searching eyes , does not actually speak for a bizarrely long time them simply utters in a small voice and curious tone

One time after work we were chilling in the lobby and one of my co-workers said "hey Patrick, did you know that every hand you've ever shaken...

I replied "yeah, it also wiped and ass. Big deal."
