Is there a thin line between love and hate? Can a man love someone again once he feels he is done with her? Can he realize how much she does love him?

If he feels in his heart of hearts that the castle gates have been shut and locked down and the moat has been filled with starved crocodiles then no, there's no chance for that girl.

If he feels that the doors are locked but the bridge is down and the night guards on watch are only marginally tending to castle security then there's a chance for the girl to occupy space in his life possibly as a friend.

Guys will typically only come back if they see there's potential with the girl -- either to mess around or to try for something more relationship-oriented. HOWEVER if you've hurt each other in the past there's a risk of not having only a short-term relationship and not something permanent.
