Did he already lose interest after our date?

I had my first date on Friday with a guy I matched on a dating app with. He was the one who planned the date despite being busy & even texted me on the day of the date if I can still make it. I would say the date went well. We held eye contact the entire time, we talked a lot, it felt very natural. He was shaking in the beginning & called it a date multiple times as well as saying he's nervous multiple times.

We talked about our families, what we like, he remembered the things I told on him on the app, he even asked me about a post on my instagram. He initiated both hugs as well & even told me he usually goes for drinks for a first date but looked for a café that suited my diet & what I might like. He texted me 10 mins after the date ended. I replied when I got home & told him Im up for a second one. After our date he went out with friends so he replied to me at 5am saying "me too, sure, we can write later when and where ;)". I asked him if he had fun with his friends, he asked me what I did after the date & then we chatted for a bit.

When he mentioned something I said on the date I tried to be playful with "for someone with a bad memory you remember quite a lot👀" since he said a couple times he has a bad memory at the date... his reply was "its just one fact, no biggie xd"… I only replied with "haha alright" so the conversation ended. I posted a story that night of flowers I bought myself & the same flowers again in sunlight the next day. He watched my stories but didn't text or reply. Its been 2 days now since we last talked and I'm wondering if he might ve lost interest already?

He did tell me he's an overthinker as well but tries to stay positive... but he also sorta told me at the date that he hopes I'll have more of these experiences (meaning dates). I understood it as a "go out with other guys" & I said "we'll see" to that & he only replied with a "okay" that didn't seem too happy... should I text him & ask for the second date or wait until he texts me?

Your biggest mistake was ha ha alright or whatever nonsense you said. You should of replied 'what other facts do I not know about you?' to keep the conversation going. Instead you ended it the least you can do is ask him for the second date coz in fact he might not be sure your actually interested given your response. Go get him.

I suggest YOU reach out to him. Many guys especially nowadays will lose interest in a woman that they feel is not reciprocating or investing. One way to start us by contacting him, and asking him out on another date. Could be for coffee or a walk or something very down to earth, but try to reach out to him instead of just waiting for him.

Sounds like you are both over thinkers. Relax. It's only been a few days. If he doesn't contact you ina week, then contact him and ask him out for your second date. Best wishes.

you just have to wait, its very possible he just didn't feel it, maybe he thought you weren't interested. He could have took your signals as mixed or confusing. Maybe he's considering if he wants a relationship right now, if you dont hear back in about a week just move on, or even call him ask him directly and then you know for sure
