Did he lose interest in me?

We’re not official but we’ve been talking for more than a month now. He went off to graduate school during the time as well.

He used to ask me to send a pic of me everyday of my day and now he barely texts me. He texts me once a day. And during the weekends he claims he goes off hiking and doesn’t have service so I don’t hear from him.

The part I don’t understand is he made me a deal that if I meet someone I need to tell him. And he asks me if I’m on dating apps. Maybe it’s because I’ve never had sex with a guy and he gets a bit protective of me. But maybe he met another woman. Any advice would be great

Graduate School is very intense. And if you do not connect well with those within your PhD program then there goes your support and study partners.-Especially the first two years.
