Age gap relationship?

I (27f) met my coworker (49m) a few years ago we started casually dating about a year ago on and off. He has been hurt in the past and I haven't been in an actual serious relationship before. I have strong feelings for him and when I say he doesn't look his age, I mean it. Several friends have also stated that. I just feel like the age thing can be an issue down the line especially if I want kids down the line. He has had a vasectomy and has thought of reversing it but it may not be successful. Any advice?

There are a lot of happy people in age-gap relationships, but you should seriously consider what the relationship will be like in 25 years when he is 74 and you are 52. He may be wanting to do retiree things but you are still working in a fulltime career. Having said that, if you make each other happy and love each other you can make it work.

As for reversing his vasectomy so you can have kids, the odds of it being successful are lower the longer it has been since the procedure was originally done. This website has some useful information. Please feel free to DM if you wish.

Vasectomy is for losers, the main problem here is not the age gap but the vasectomy.
