Why does my boyfriend make me the center of his world like this?

So I've been dating a guy but I start to feel like he's mad. He stares at me often and for example when I said "I wanna try this meat" he'd start preparing it right there on the spot. I wanna know what are possible reasons one would make a person a center of their world like that. Are they crazy?

lol this is why a lot of men stay single. You can do everything for her but she still complains. You’d be more happy w a man who treats you like crap, who doesn’t give you that attention because that’s how a lot of women are. If he’s too good, he’s too boring, he’s perceived as weak cause he caters to your every want. You’d rather have a man w a backbone in your eyes who’s going to put his foot down, stand up to you and say no once in a while or put you in your place. You may as well break it off w him cause you’re going to eventually resent him.

I don’t care, and I don’t want to be a celeb. That just lets you know he probably has nothing going on at all if he feels the need to exaggerate anything.
