Why do some men sabotage their ex’s love life after moving on?

If the guy has moved on and dating another woman or even married, why does he do things to block, stop, or hinder his exes love life? It didn't work, he moved on but can't digest her moving on with someone else so he tells lies and etc. Why this evil bad behavior?
