Am I overreacting because he hung up to take a call from a ‘friend’?

I am talking to a guy currently and he got off the phone saying his friend was calling and he called me back and said they were asking how they were doing. I am just suspicious why did he get off the phone with me to answer a call? And why did he call this person a "them"?

He's very honest and he let's me use his gaming account and he hasn't told me a lie yet he's been honest but i am just suspicious on who this friend is? Am I overreacting? Or?

Yeah, you are overreacting because you had no idea what the nature of the call was. Why is it such a big deal for him to call you back? It isn't like he was being rude either.
