Does feeling relieved after Tom’s lies mean I’m ready to date again?

So, I’ve figured out what’s going on with this Tom guy, who’s been lying to me. He’s been making new profiles on a dating app and talking on them to make fun of me for having been interested in him and wanting a future with him.

Tom’s reasons for doing this are because he is from a wealthy, highly educated family and mine are far less so. Tom just finds it funny. My friends are outraged and thinking of colourful descriptions of Tom, but I feel just more relieved that Tom isn’t a foreigner seeking citizenship or some kind of shady criminal, likely to cause me problems. I don’t feel upset anymore. Does that mean that I’m ready to move on and date other men, once I meet someone else who I like?

I closed the dating app and all the others I’ve used. I feel like maybe I’ll try for a fresh start, meeting men in person rather than on dating apps.
