Is starting to date at 28 too late, and what should I expect?

Hi. I'm 22 and I'm still in college since I was trying different majors and I'll be done by 26 years old. I lack dating experience and some frat guys have flirted with me but I haven't been asked out. I'm planning to date by 28 since I'll have more stability. What should I expect from dating in the future? Is it too late to date by 28 years old? Should I pay a dating company, just use popular apps or through network?

I think waiting has it's advantages. I started dating when I was 12. And well lets just say dating as a preteen is dramatic as hell. My husband on the other hand didn't start dating till he was in his mid 20s and he's had little to no drama because of that. I'll be honest, I feel like this is less about waiting till you are ready and more about you wanting to avoid intimacy. Do some soul searching on that, waiting is healthy, avoiding is not.

It's never too late.
If you want to have kids, you will still be able to do that well into your mid 30s or even later.

In my mid-30s, I had two of the best girlfriends I ever had.
Then I met my future wife when I was 40 and married her when I was 42. By then, I was ready to settle down with a partner for the rest of my life. We've been happily married now for almost 30 years.

Date when you"re ready for it but don't leave it any longer then you feel you have too. The older you get the fewer opportunities hou have with guys your same age.

You can date while you are in college. Most people do.

I find such timetables really weird. They remind me of communist economy plans. There is a 35 year old member here who, year after year, finds more excuses not to date.
