Are you afraid of people who are "too smart" ?

I am asking this because a woman recently told me, after reading a short biographical sketch of me, that I was "too smart for her." I have no idea what she meant by this, but I didn't like it.

She might have been too intimidated by your intelligence. She may feel you aren't compatible because she thinks she’s below you intellectually.

I'm attracted to intelligent men. We might not be knowledgeable about the same topics, but I wouldn't think we were incompatible based on that.

I'm afraid of the people who say that. I'm pretty quick but I've met people who are noticably quicker. In my experience, the people who are truly talented don't think they are all that much.

It all depends on personality too
