Do guys actually get nervous before a first date?

Not so far. I've only ever been on 3 and 2 of them I knew for weeks/months first and by the time we went on one, we already knew how we felt about each other. It just so happened to be the first time we did something we called a date.

And the third was so sudden that I didn't have time to get nervous because I just met him the night before and he was too nervous to talk to me so I had to do it and I was busy all day before the date so I had other things to think about all day. And he was nervous enough for like 5 people, I didn't need to add to it for him lol

Yes. Of course! You hope the date goes well or that you don't fuck it up or say/do something to make you ate her. If you've asked her out on the date, it's because you like her and want her to like you at least as much you like her so, you just want everything to go well.

i used to be in my early 20s. my nervousness came from the expectation and the hope to find a girl that wants to be with me. i learned not to expect that or hope for it cause it's not realistic, so now i don't really get nervous or evene excited. it's almost like i already expect it's not gonna lead to anything anyway.

Maybe when they're your age. But at a certain point you've seen every trick that is in a woman's arsenal and you basically know the glaring red flags. You always hope it'll work out, but you're pretty realistic about the liklihood of it working out. So at that point there's no reason to get nervous. There are 4 billion women on the planet, there will be another one if it doesn't work out.👍
