How long should you know a guy before it’s safe to hang out at his house?

or, think of the worst case scenario... let's say you go to his house, he keeps you locked

how many of your friends and family... know him and where he lives?
how many of his friends and family... know that you would be hanging out with him
how many people in your life would know, be aware... where you are and what are you doing, with him... so they know you've been missing an unusual amount of time... lol

let's say he does try something nasty and very wrong, but you manage to leave... and will report to police afterwards

do you know his full name? his family? his friends? where he works... his usual schedule, where he could go to hide or stuff like that?

at your age... late teens/college age... I ALWAYS knew where my friends who were girls, would be with a guy that they were going out/getting to know to

and not just me, their family and other friends as well

and also... if you have a doubt and you're still wondering if it is safe.. that's because it isn't safe enough yet, lol

last time i had a girl over she was eager to go inside but wasn't interested fooling around. Realized she was there to survey the house for a future home invasion. Thank God she was kept outside and need allowance to enter. In a normal situation you go to someones door knock and are invited in not have the guy meet you in your car outside then ask relentlessly to go in with no interest in the guy u came to supposedly see

You will have to decide that for yourself. There is no magic number of dates or days you have known him. You have to trust your instinct based on what you learn about him and what you observe about his behavior. But if you don't trust him 100%, don't do it yet. If you're unsure enough that you have to think about it and ask people, then you're not ready to.

I had to know them really well. After we've been out a few times, I would invite them to my place for dinner. I wouldn't go to their place until I was very comfortable with them. There wasn't really a rule, because it also helped if I knew them fairly well prior to dating.

Difficult to put a rule. In the end it's more about your personal feeling and how comfortable you're with going there and dealing with a potential pushy guy. No amount of waiting will completely remove the risk so it's better to just learn how to deal with certain situations.
