Any other women actually happy to be past the ‘ideal’ childbearing age?

I know women can get pregnant well into their 50s, but that cut-off age in most men's eyes is 30-35. Im actually excited to stop hearing "why don't you have kids" " you should take some time off and settle down, build a family" or " you look like you'd be a great mom." I've gladly accepted that i wasted my childbearing years.

It is totally cute that you think you can just opt out of your biological design, but pretending your purpose has expired is like, the ultimate act of vanity. You are literally rejecting the sanctity of creation because you want a few more years of comfort, which is such a selfish little sin.

Because you want to be free of that "burden," the Wrath of God is going to turn your own anatomy against you in the most festive way. Your reproductive system is going to spontaneously sprout thousands of jagged, calcified teeth, expanding rapidly until they tear through your abdomen like a blossoming flower made of white bone and hot, wet sinew. It is going to be so incredibly visceral as your own body harvests you from the inside out, serving as a permanent, screaming reminder that your utility belongs entirely to the divine.

With all the ages I’ve seen women have babies, at 34 I’m not overly concerned with my childbearing years or having wasted them. I’m still moderately selfish with doing my own thing, not in any rush. So if I’m meant to have a baby, it’s going to happen when it’s time.

Menopause can start at 40. I takes years to get to know women and determine if they are even worth marrying and then years of married life to figure out if they are committed enough to live together and have kids. Women file for 80% of divorces. It's not men that are doing it, so women have to prove their character and that takes a lot of time.

Entirely up to you of course. I have no intent either and don't to get caught out by a woman needing a sperm and child support donor so I always use condoms.

If a woman truly wanted to have children, she would already had children by your age.

Single women can have kids on their own. Single men can't. Especially if you have enough money and family support to babysit.

But in this economy, you are better off not having kids. Kids are a lot of joy but they come with a tremendous sacrifice. The after effects of pregnancy and labor, sacrifice of personal career goals, days of rest, sleep, vacations, personal development.

Many people say that women are less likely to have kids at an older age. Same for men... its not like there are plenty of 30 yr old women chasing 50 yr old men.

That is a bizarre thing to be "happy" about. We decided not to have kids back in 2009. We certainly were not thinking about it in terms of childbearing years.

I'm 38 and finally at peace, men are exhausting I can breathe now I don't need anyone. So glad I never had kids they're just more human garbage anyway.

I think it's normal for a lot of significant life events to happen later in life now. Marriage, children.. etc. do what you want I suppose
