Question for women who can’t see themselves marrying and/or having kids and starting a family with the dad? Do you think you’ll be happy at 35?

It looks like the world is headed into an economic depression, combined with civil Unrest/crime, wars and civil wars are already breaking out everywhere. Trade and local economies will be and are being negatively impacted now.

The jobs the vast majority of women choose (and are able to do) aside from the medical field and day care, are not necessary for infrastructure and protection.

So aside from the common regret of not having children that most women experience in their 30s due to hormonal signaling and societal issues, you will be in an extra tough spot compared to your male peers (well at least compared to the ones not on the frontlines in combat.

How does that make you feel? What will you do for survival or to continue living somewhat comfortably?

okay, it seems like this question is more rhetorical. otherwise, i may not understand what you're asking because English is not my first language. regardless, i will do my best to answer.

it more or less seems like you're saying that women are generally pretty useless and contribute nothing to society other than participating in marriage and motherhood. and that if they dont participate in those things, they will inevitably feel unfulfilled down the line. or at least that's what i've gathered. if that's not what you meant, i apologize.

to start, with a simple google search, you will find mixed reports about which demographic of women are happier when it comes to childfree, single women and married mothers. this is because it is case by case.

anyway, you also list civil unrest and wars while implying that women will need husbands during that time to provide security. however, historically women persevered without men during these times because their husbands were at war. women worked, organised communities, and adapted while their husbands were away. also, i'm not sure what women need protection from other than... other men lol. maybe men should just stop being the problem.

marriage does not make you immune to economic collapse, and it definitely does not guarantee happiness. I've seen that firsthand just from living and observing. i know that at your big age, you must have seen many more examples of that than i have

At my elderly age, I sure have seen more than I ever wanted to. At your age I was blown up by enemy grenades (it was some other explosion that probably won’t translate well) and in combat for my stupid country (all the countries are stupid btw-same old tale-rich fat older men getting younger ones to die for shit).

Upon my return I was introduced to The Tender Years Doctrine and my kids were alienated from me and forever now, thanks legalized misogyny! So my family business might as well be family shit biscuits.

Women are very useful - we are made different and have different utilities. I mentioned nurses and doctors - that is very important indeed - so is day care.

There were always older men and half injured men at home to help protect women and kids in times of war - often it was not enough to save or protect them, unfortunately.

And people, both women and men, will never stop hurting eachother unfortunately. Women just tend to use gossip, lies, and manipulation to hurt orher people more often than men

Yes. Marriage and kids don’t guarantee happiness. Not having kids does hurt the economy, and not having kids and a dad for them can statistically will not make you happier but statistically will make you less happy.

And…someone has to replace you as the worker/benefit to the community AND someone has to care for you when you are elderly.

I'm a country girl. We know how to survive. And I'm also lesbian and have no intention of having children. All of this has absolutely nothing to do with whether I'll be happy at 35 or not. I am happy everyday 'cuz I choose to be happy. 😊
