Girls, When was the last time you had a boyfriend?

I never had a boyfriend (or girlfriend for that matter) because I have other priorities in life right now than to divert my attention with something or someone that is going to take my priorities away or where I have to split my time.

Furthermore, I am not interested in being in a relationship for a number of reasons. Being in a relationship means also having to "perform" when you don't want and have to do things that disgust you rather than motivate you.

I doubt that any guy in my age group would be satisfied with a platonic relationship and that is why I don't want a boyfriend. I don't feel like having to be cheated on.

I currently have one. He's great for me and makes me extremely happy. We have been together for a bit over three years at this point. I think his best features are that he is thoughtful and kind, he tolerates my bad sense of humor, we have a lot of similar tastes in things such as music and games, and most importantly, he's a great stepfather to my kids.

I've only ever had one other boyfriend who was a long distance relationship that lasted for a year before he ended up cheating on me and it nearly had me swearing off men for good. Thankfully my current boyfriend showed me not all guys are undateable and I am grateful for that.
