What happened to my phone?

I dropped my phone but I caught it almost at the same time. It said accidental touch protection. Now the colors are all screwed like a bad acid trip. White is black and the other colors are their opposite. What happened.
There was no impact and I've set it down much harder than what occurred in the past.

If your phone was not locked, you may have hit a key by accident that inverts the colors. This is an option in a number of smartphones for people that are color blind.

Check the option on your smartphone how to undo what you may have done accidently. If you cannot find how to proceed, then try seeing on the internet how to do it, depending whether you own a i****e or an Android type of phone.

Since there was no shock, the smartphone did not take any damage unless it was already damaged to start with from previous mishandling.

Hi! Speaking of being colorblind, I saw a cool video the other day about these glasses 🕶️ for colorblind people to be able to see the real color of everything.

What was heartwarming about the video was that people were giving them to their colorblind friends, relatives, partners, etc., as a present 🎁.
They had no idea what was in the box. But when they tried them on and could suddenly see the real colors that they had never seen before, their reactions were priceless.
They were going around looking at the real color of green trees and no idea what color trees were before. Can you imagine what that would feel like?
I enjoyed watching the video and each one of their responses to seeing color for the first time.🙂

@sage2021 I can imagine the kind of effect it must have on someone that is colorblind to suddenly see things how they are in reality. That must be very emotional. I have seen a video of a kid that heard sounds for the first time after he was implanted with a cochlea implant. His reaction was so intense that it made me cry.

I googled it and turning off the color inversion fixed it. Unfortunately while in panic mode I hit reset. Now I get to fix everything back.

That pretty much sounds like a physical defect. Maybe you squeezed it too hard during the catch or the damage of previous falls just added up. You may be lucky and it's just a display cable that needs to be reseated. So maybe it's worth having a technician check it.

Oh you just activated color inversion in software by tapping something on the screen when you caught it? xD that's wild.

It must be that when you catched it, you made a hard press on the screen, something happened to it's structure...

These phones are sensitive and malfunctions very fast, plus it also depends on what type of a phone you're carrying 😄

Sometimes it can be a loose wire inside, you might press it again or shake it and it will work 🤷🏻‍♂️

I fixed it. Its a Galaxy 15. Im about to get an upgrade. I've had this one for over 2 years.
