So I lost my Android phone several weeks ago and my dad ordered me a new one off Amazon and it was acting fine at first. It's an iphone SE. I think it's the first gen? It still has a button on it. Anyway I did drop it last weekend when I was at work, but I had a good case on it. But it started turning off and back on by itself. It stopped doing that the next day and was acting fine all this week, I've been trying to be careful not to drop it, cause I know how fuckin fragile iphones are. Well I dropped it again yesterday, again with the case on it, and now it's doing the same thing and it won't stop. We're going to return it to Amazon. It does have a pretty good size crack in the back of it. Like it looks like the impact point was in the bottom corner of it and it radiates out in different directions. I'd take a picture in the mirror of it but it switches on and off so much I'm using the computer for now. :'). Like I can watch two TikTok clips and then it'll shut off. Oh and before the audio was skipping as well but it's not doing that anymore.
my entire family are phone droppers lmao... but everyone uses Android, and they can usually take a couple of dozen falls, no problem
iPhones... you only have to look bad at them once, and they will start NOTworking on you lmfao, they are sensitive

I have owned lord knows how many phones over the years. Various Android models and I've dropped every single one onto concrete and I have never cracked a screen once. I use the cheap ass cases too, no Otter Boxes here.

I bought a Galaxy at WalMart. I had so many problems just getting it to connect that I returned it before I even left the store. I ended up sat Verizon. It was more expensive but at least it works.
It’s definitely damaged internally from dropping it, especially cracking the back, they won’t repair the back since the cost is too much and just replace it, I hope you had insurance. Maybe you need a wrist strap attached to it while using it
I still use a SE 1st Gen that I purchased four years ago, new old stock, for $100. It has a $10 case on it. I've dropped it several times and never had an issue. They sold you a lemon.
Maybe you should work on not dropping your phone.
My nephew doesn't have a phone case and always drops his iPhone. I would return the phone if possible.
i dropped my phone often too , but it still fine now , samsung is pretty tough
... and that's why i don't buy apple products. That's not the only reason i just don't like them
