Does anyone else have this problem with their phone?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A12. Sometimes when I send myself an email from yahoo on my phone with some pictures so I can put them on my computer the email takes awhile to show up on my computer. Sometimes days, and sometimes it never does. Also, when I try downloading pics to my computer using the cord and it is looking for new pics to download the pic I just took is nowhere to be found, even though I see it in my gallery. Is it just cheap Samsung phones or what?

I had problems with email expecially with images with both Android and Apple… it resulted it was a problem of yahoo mail and gmail. I solved the problem by using an email provider (mail. ru) that sends mail via my main yahoo and gmail accounts and it doesn’t create problems at all, every email takes max 2 mins to be sent and received.


To find images on cell via cord, you have to roam since file organisation in Androids is a bit confusing, they’re usually stored in DCIM folder, try exploring a bit the main memory or the external SD card if you’ve one.

I just looked it up on Google... and a lot of articles seem to mention about a disconnect between Samsung, Yahoo... and a third party email access app in your phone, so this is probably related to that issue

I guess it depends on how exactly are you trying to access to your emails, and if it is linked or in sync with your phone/accounts or not...

for some, they just deleted the cache, removed the account, and then re-added the account and it started to work just fine

Everyone who answered is wrong. If the image is too big in regards to file size you will have this problem. You could resize the pictures or send only 2 or 3 images at a time. I have had this problem too.

Every so often we have some lag time in receiving our messages.
I wouldn't mind it so much, but it always seems to come when the messages are at the most critical part of a convo/decision/ other important stuff. Murphy's law, I guess.

Are you using an e-mail client like outlook or Thunderbird or do you access Yahoo e-mail through the browser?

I've never tried Outlook, just Yahoo and GMail.

Send an email to yourself and see if you can open it from your phone.

Probably. Using an iPhone, I never have those problems. My photos sync to my iCloud. And I can get them immediately anywhere from my iPad to my MacBook or IMac in less then a second

It’s probably the yahoo browser, I have a similar issue with getting yahoo emails on my phone email compared to going to the actual site

Easiest way to send pics to yourself on WhatsApp. Then open WhatsApp on your computer and download the pictures from chat

I do. Try turning off Bluetooth and wifi both if possible. Unpair additional wifi and bluetooth devices if you have any.

I had same problems with iPhone. It’s all a problem of mail service provider, she has to use an external mail provider like Outlook or Mail. Ru and not to pass by the Yahoo mail app.
