Is anyone having trouble trying to use their cellphone 📱?

My phone and my friends cellphones are having problems since yesterday. We were on the phone with T-Mobile for an hour just to get the internet back. It sure helped calling from my landline phone because we were on hold for a long time so I didn't have to worry about my battery going dead before I talked to an agent 🙂
I really hate to bring this up because I don't want to offend anyone, but I am thinking that all of the asylum seekers were each given a cellphone when they came to America - that's over 3-4 million more cellphones being used now at the same time.
I noticed on my landline phone it just says wireless caller instead of the person's name when I get incoming calls. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Do you think the systems are overloaded and cannot function right?
My friend got a strangely worded message from Google something about a lot of SMS messages are being sent. That's all we know.

My wife and I both still have i6s, 3G phones. I heard that the carrier is going to stop servicing 3G and we have to upgrade to 4 or 5G. They're really trying to push people to 5G.

I have a Samsung phone From MetroPCS which uses the Tmobile network. I have had issues also.

Yes, it’s a problem for us too. So they were each given older iPhones and androids that were donated from stores and people along with free service for a month to get them up on their feet again. Nobody is talking about it though because these small things aren’t up for debate here. It’s just something that we naturally did like providing them with water. Nobody debates about wether we should give water or not and it isn’t reported or anything. I live by the border so that’s how I know. I didn’t know we would have problems so I ended up donating an older android and iPhone 6 that were useless to me. Plus clothes and shoes.

last year there was an accident where a vehicle went off the road and crashed a tower. cell phones were down on every carrier, i asked others in the restaurant and everyone said their service was down. no calls nor internet service. it sure felt weird.

Spectrum, service may not be great though you would not be paying as much either
