It is one inch. I was 5"11 and a half inched. To be on the crew team in college you had to be 6 feet. The coach almost did not accept me on the team but I was pretty insistant

I don't think so, i'm 6ft and sometimes i stand in front of guys who are 6ft 2 or 6ft 3 and not much of a difference...
