Is it okay to treat a conference networking app like a dating app?

there’s this Conference I like, which is very right of Center oriented, and there’s an app for it, which is nice because you can connect with and find people on there. So I look for potential business contacts , but I also scour the app and try to find every single woman I find attractive who is not married because it’ll say your title like Mrs. or Miss Mr. etc. so I tried to treat it like a dating app because you never know I might find somebody there. And yeah, some of the women aren’t interested, but there’s a pretty good number who gave me their phone numbers. So that is nice. and it’s very obvious my interest is not professional. So they’re aware.

I’d say that if you already happen to be talking to a single woman on there who you think is interested then sure, go for it. But I don’t think it’s wise to treat this conference networking like a dating app, because that’s most likely not what most women you run into on there are looking for. If you’re looking for a match, go to an actual dating app where ladies are welcoming to that or seeking it themselves.
