My opinion is that it’s because young women are encouraged to prioritise themselves over everyone. Like to be a wife and a mother you need a degree of selflessness. Gen Z and below don’t have that.
Like girls will only look at a guy and be like what does he do for me and not vice versa.

I do not date at the moment and have no desire to do so. That is not to say I am uninterested in ever dating.

I do prioritize myself over dating. Why should I not? It is my life after all. Right now I have lots of school ahead of me and other obligations that put dating at the back of my mind.

I see plenty of people where I live and go to. school date. So I don't know where you get the notion it is dead.
