If you were really shy, how did you overcome your shyness?

When I was younger, I was painfully shy like, it actually caused me real problems. One day I just said, (fuck this.) So I started putting myself out there. Talked to random people. Even started chatting up strangers I'd run into on the street. Sometimes I'd crack a joke. Other times I'd just make eye contact or if someone walked past me, I'd hit 'em with a compliment on their fit, their haircut, or just throw out a (hey, howdy)

And you know what I realized? Shyness is literally just a thought in my head. It's not real. It's not who I am , it's just some dumb story I'm telling myself. Once I stop buying into it, it loses all its power.
Yeah, it feels awkward at first. But so does everything worth doing.
Now I'm ready to go on air 🤟😎🤘

Having my spirit broke. A guy needs to get to the point that he's been rejected so much that he has no pride left. No pride means no fear. Because at that point what can be taken from you? You become numb to rejection. You become numb to her feelings as well. At that point you're a terminator. You do not feel, pain or pity or remorse. And you absolutely do not stop until you are laid.😆

Honestly I just forced myself to talk to people more little by little

started to play team sports around six years or seven years old

that's how I got used to be around people and interact/engage with them to a very minimum... nobody really cared about me, lol... they were all after the ball

and then, naturally... other people would start talking to you, and little by little I got used to that... "surviving day by day" just made it a little bit easier through the years

I was able to overcome just some of it with great effort. It was very uncomfortable.
