Hey everyone, just wanted to get some thoughts on something I’ve been noticing lately.
My everyday style tends to be pretty polished, formal, and put-together. Because of that, I've realized I rarely get approached by guys my own age anymore. Instead, almost all the attention I get comes from guys who are older and more advanced/stable in their careers.
It made me wonder if the way a woman dresses directly affects the type of men who feel comfortable coming up to her. Do you think a more formal or polished look intimidates younger guys, or does it just naturally attract men who are a bit further along in life?
Let me know what you think, I'm super curious if anyone else has noticed this!

I view clothes as implicit tribal signs, but I also believe we can belong or be perceived as members of several tribes at once.
When I was 18, a 18yo girl dressing formally was an extremely rare sight, so rare that I would implicitly think she's not a member of my "clan". As a result, I would probably not try to interact as I'd believe she's quite an alien lol
Guys your age don't have a clue what "style" is in the first place, Sophia. What do you think they want, or are attracted to, in the first place? :)
