Today I told a girl I want to write a book on dating and her response was, unless you have a lot of dating experience or have friends with a lot of dating experience, you do not have enough knowledge to write the book and nobody will buy it.
I would say the reason I am qualified to write a book on dating is the fact that I have very little dating experience. A person that breaks bible guidelines by getting into lots of relationships that are bad for you, is not qualified to teach about dating. The most qualified person to write about dating is the one that respects bible teachings on dating by limiting themselves to only biblically aligned principles on dating and partner selection.

I've been told that success requires compromising my principles. I never agreed with that. I believe skills can be developed, knowledge can be learned, but character is a choice. If writing your book reflects your convictions and you've studied the subject sincerely, then let the readers judge its value, not the assumptions people make before they've even read the first page.
