Sometimes a hobby says a lot about a person without them even trying. Dancing, cooking, painting, writing, playing music, hiking, working out, reading, building things, gardening… it really can show confidence, creativity, patience, passion, discipline, or even a softer side of them.
Is there a hobby that immediately makes someone more attractive in your eyes?

There's quite a few...
If they're into yoga, I instantly think they're feminine and care about their fitness, and ahem... they're flexible 😏
Then there's knitting... another feminine hobby and maybe I might feel the love with a handmade scarf or sweater, or they can hem my clothes to fit me.
If they like gaming, anime, and manga, but aren't one of those cosplayer gamer girls (too intense for me), it's also attractive simply because it's something we could enjoy doing together or understand our love of it.
Hiking and camping is another one. If they aren't afraid to rough it in the wilderness a bit, it's huge for me. I want a girl who looks forward to laying in the grass with me looking at the stars, or cuddling up by a campfire and just enjoying each other's company.
If they're interested in psychology and philosophy like I am... not the history of it or anything, but just interested in how people think and what makes them click as well as thinking about life in general, that's another really attractive interest.
Cooking is another one. I don't really care for baking because I try to stay away from sweets unless it's fruit or healthy desserts. But if a girl likes cooking it's again... feminine. And it also says she's not a modern feminist who thinks women cooking is oppressive. I cook a lot and I can make a few dishes pretty well consistently. I also like to try new recipes and love the feeling of people liking my food. But it's nice to have a partner who likes it too. Maybe we could cook together, ya know?
Dance is also attractive. Not anything that looks masculine breakdancing, but if she just knows how to move sensually, it can be a huge turn on. I'm personally a shitty dancer, but it doesn't change the fact it's attractive in a girl to me.
I'm sure there's more, but those are some that came to mind first.
Didn't read your description until just now... I agree with gardening and working out as well. And as for the image... it is attractive when a girl can play an instrument, although some instruments are more attractive that others. For example, a flute, piano, or guitar are all highly attractive, but a bagpipe or trombone... not as much 😂
I used to work at a couple different live music venues for years as a doorman. There’s been many times I’ve seen some smoking hot girl with some dude that either looks like a bum or acts like a total douche bag, or both. 9 times out of 10 it’s because he’s in a band, usually one of the bands playing that night. The rest because he’s rich or supplying her with drugs. Or all 3. Girls get too razzle-dazzled by that rockstar cool guy bullshit and will tolerate things they normally would not in a relationship for the status and image factor, which is superficial high school bullshit.
I would say a man who has the talent for fixing things and not just buy a new one or throw the broken on away.
I'm not sure that is a hobby necessarily, but it takes a special talent to fix things and make them like new again.

I'm a sucker for a guy playing guitar or drums. But mostly guitar as its more portable and solo. There's no connection to his character except maybe shows a level of dedication and memory. But mostly it's just so romantic even if they don't play to come across romantic lol
Being a musician myself, I am drawn to other musicians. You can be strictly amateur, but if you have energy and passion for it, I feel instantly attracted.
I find women who are into sailing to be very attractive since it's my major hobby as well. I love both cruising and racing, and I've done a lot of it over the years. It would be nice to find a woman that would like to do it with me.
