Hi! I'm 19 and I've never had a boyfriend, tbh not too big a deal for me but I see a lot of people saying to watch out for a guy's first real love. And now I'm wondering, when on average do guys meet those first true loves because if I search it I see a lot of different things, some studies say 11-15 and others say 18-25. This got me a bit worried so can you guys tell me what your experiences/knowledge is?

Mine was just before I turned 19.
It's important to know this though:
Many people, not just guys, probably don't realize the first time that they are in love until they get their first real broken heart. Once that happens, it's game over - especially for guys. It's like "a personal 9/11", an event so traumatic that you never forget it.
After my first broken heart on 01 JAN 1982 (which was due to my first girlfriend; I was away at college but she was home and a senior in high school), I was a wreck until August 1984. I got my 2nd girlfriend a month later.
My greatest broken heart was perhaps my first because it was so traumatic being a new experience, but I did get over it. My most profound broken heart is the one that I am still experiencing after 34.5 years... I KNEW I was in love with this one girl because I knew the signs ever since that first broken heart. I wanted to marry her. So, when she dumped me on 12 JAN 1992, it was devastating. I instantly knew the next 3 years were gone... if I was lucky...
I moved on - a short rebound LDR with a Canadian woman 9 years older than me - and then met my wife in November 1999 and have been married for almost 25 years, but I never got over that broken heart and that still haunts me every day and will until I die.
I was going to write more and give details about that first love, but I just don't have time now. If you want to know more, let me know.
Define "true love" and "typically". It'll happen when the opportunity presents itself and the guy has matured enough to experience it. Generally sometime between 15 and 25.
Depends on said individual. For me at 23. Hit me like a semi carrying 40 tons of brick! Greatest and most terrifying 6 years of my life.
so you're not together anymore but you still consider her the love of your life?
Yep. We haven't talked in almost 20 years.. Aww you were an infant then.
haha, but how does that work tho? like you haven't talked in 20 years and you still want her the most?
You misunderstand. The time we had together was unexplainably beautiful.. I didn't even realize it while we were together. She sent me a friend request on FB back in 2014 which I declined because I was with another woman and she was the only reason I was on that shit site anyway.,
yeah I'm sorry I don't fully understand what you mean haha (English isn't my first language so maybe that's why)
Apology rejected. You didn't type anything wrong. Love is a feeling that transcends any language barrier. I still love her after all these years. She still has a piece of my heart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_XhnHbdqWA
I was 16 when we dated but we first met when I was 14 but I was older in my soul
If he is 14 .. BE WORRIED
. 😂
First true love is hard to say.
That's not how real life works
Can you explain it to me then please?
Teens
but are you still dating her and if no, why not then?
No, moved on.
Okay thanks
