I’m 29 due to lots of bullying and isolation I didn’t get to meet women much through school didn’t get experience and covid lockdown too all that now years have passed by and I still have major anxiety and lack of experience but I just want to find someone I can love is it to late for me

No. I was something of a late bloomer in dating as well. I didn't meet my wife until I was 29, a few months after I wrote and posted this MyTake below...

I'd probably word a few things differently and add a few other pointers, but most of what I said here still holds true nearly 10 years later.

Regarding the anxiety and I presume insecurity, you should try to figure out what's causing them and figure out how to address and engage with the underlying issues. And if (hopefully when) you secure a good date, do yourself a favor and don't tell her about them, at least not right away. Sharing your vulnerabilities is something that should wait until a deeper bond has been formed. You need to be at peace with yourself if you want to give of yourself fo another person. We all have shortcomings, hurts, and insecurities that we're dealing with. You don't want to advertise them though.

And most definitely do not - Do... NOT - tell her about wanting to find someone to love or anything else like that. You don't want her thinking you're insecure, desperate, and pathetic. Simply invite her out to dinner or coffee. Set a time and place. And offer to pick her up. Let the chips fall where they may.

It's never too late. I started chatting with this girl on Snapchat and WhatsApp in the summer of 2024, we communicated very frequently over the coming ten months and started growing closer, but circumstances eventually made the whole thing erode before we ever met. Yeah, it was a long-distance relationship where she seemed too shy to commit while I didn't have the flexibility or the resources in my life to travel to her that frequently.

I'm two years younger than you, by the way. Don't worry about "aging out" or whatever, just do your best and you will find someone.

How many times are you going to ask this same question? If you sit here and post he same question all the time, then you are not going to find love and it is too late. If you get out there and meet people and find a woman, then you will. There are no other answers. The answers aren't going to change each time you ask the same question.

I won't lie to you. You are dealing with a deficit. However it is not too late and there are plenty of women that would not have a problem with this. I had a friend who was in her late 30s and divorced that med a guy about the same age. He had a pretty successful construction business, was pretty good looking and seemed like a good guy. When she got to know him better it turns out he never had a date with a woman before. He said that he grew up in a very small town and did not have many opportunities to meet women. She did not have a problem with that.

No, I found my husband around that age too. And I had the same issues of major anxiety and lack of experience too. Don’t give up, just work on yourself and your communication skills first. But be careful, don’t just trust the first person that seems nice either. You still have a long life ahead hopefully, so don’t give up.

Not too late yet. But once you hit 40, it might be too late. People's value decreases as they get older. After 40, the people you want to date , might not necessarily want you.
