How can I get my shy manager coworker to ask for my number before I quit?

I'm quitting my job soon but before I leave I want to talk to this guy. He's my manager who I think likes me but im not too sure. He comes off as really shy and inexperienced when it comes to dating. Very sweet, very respectful until... im around the manager that he manages or any of other man, he appears around us a lot and i noticed afterwards he gives me the silent treatment or starts being mean to me. He will make up a false issue and approach me about it assertive... aggressive way but in reality he's mad I was talking to another guy. But when he calms down he's back into his sweet mode with saying good morning to me with a smile and holds eye contact for a while after it. He was devastated when he found out I was leaving. I can feel he's waiting on a green light from me to ask for my number cause he is always leaning near me showing something on his phone but cautious since he's a manager and/or not sure if I like him.

As almost everyone else has said — just ask him yourself. Even if you were to end up being wrong and he’s got no crush, why does it matter? You’re leaving the job. I get that it’s scary but I think it would suck a lot more missing your chance entirely because you were too much of a chicken to make a move.

Corner him and be direct. Make your intentions known. I was so shy around one girl, she literally gave me anxiety attacks. Eventhough I wanted to talk to her, I switched mindsets when that became a possibility.

Just hand it to him on voice of paper or better yet ask him for his phone and tell him you're going to give him your number so he can keep in touch with you and if he's real shy you should make sure you get his number too.
