What should I do when a coworker gets my number without permission?

So my boyfriend and I work at the same place except he works at night. Well I knew his manager before he became a manager and he would goof off with me but that was like two years ago. He quit for a year and came back as a manager but I barely saw him.

So I got mad at my boyfriend today because he had been ignoring me. He texted me and I just texted back “oh” and blocked him cause I was mad at him. About an hour later (when his boss comes into work) I get a text from a number. The number texts me “oh ok.” I replied ok and it says “I’m sorry”. They asked who was I and what was my name and I told them and he asked did I work at *names my work place.* I’m thinking it’s my boyfriend realizing he got blocked and texting me from another number messing with me. I looked the number up on the internet and his manager name pops up. So I unblocked my boyfriend number and explained everything. My boyfriend swore up and down he had nothing to do with it and asked how did he get my number.
