He stopped texting after I refused a video call—should I reach out or wait?

I’ve been talking to a guy for three days. He’s been really nice and polite, he texts me constantly, gives me explanations, and sends me photos of where he is. Today I told him I had guests over at my house, and he asked me to send him a photo of the surroundings because he didn’t believe I was actually at home. I sent him a photo showing that I was home, but I didn’t show the guests. Then I told him we could talk on the phone. We talked, and he asked me to turn on my camera for five seconds. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable doing that, at least not today. He said, “I just want to see you, I won’t ask you again.” I asked him why he was insisting, and he said, “That’s just how I am.”

Since we ended the call, he hasn’t texted me, and it’s been an hour. Should I text him or should I wait?

Do you want to date or not? The media has terrorized single women. If you aren't willing to meet or show your face, you aren't ready to date. Have a short video chat, then go meet a guy for coffee or lunch.

It is weird that he is doing that. How old is the guy? Is he insecure? What does ur gut tell you/ It might be ok to take the high road and send him a text or better yet give him a call to see what is up. Ur thoughts?

I didn’t feel comfortable with that and I told him, later I will but not tonight and he just kept saying just five seconds he didn’t understand me
