Why aren’t intellectual disabled people treated well in the dating world?

They are always bullied and not treated well and it’s impossible for me to find a real boyfriend. There was a hate page about a me with a mild intellectual disability saying “she’s not right in the head” and acts off and they even said the fact that she’s on all these hook up apps after all these years tells you that something isn’t right after her and she always looked off” And they even said she is looking for a boyfriend and can’t bring anyone someone home for that. When I saw this page about me I broke down and cried!! This is why I can’t ever find a boyfriend because of these people talking behind my back and making Facebook hate pages about me. You think these comments are right about me and I do seem off to you because of my disability? Or are they being assholes and ableist because I dated someone before that I didn’t meet online and he would never say something like that and it’s rare for a guy to think this. What do you think?

How did they even get that info about you? Think carefully who have you shared personal details with? Could it be someone you trust? IMean, bullies like this don't create pages out of nowhere... they usually pull from something they've seen, heard, or been told. Tracing the source might help you shut it down or at least protect yourself better going forward.
