So I first met this guy on tinder like a year or two ago and we went out on a date at the movies. After that, we didn’t really go anywhere romantically. He would occasionally reach out or slide into my DMs, but at the time I wasn’t that interested and would sometimes brush him off.
Recently he reached out again and asked me to go bowling. I agreed, and we went out this past Tuesday. The date actually went really well. We talked a lot, joked around, were playfully competitive, and he complimented me a couple of times. After the date he texted me and said he had a good time and told me to drive safe.
He initiated a conversation the day after our date. We were talking about me going on vacation soon, and his last message was basically “oh shoot, that sounds fun.” I just reacted to the message because there wasn’t really much for me to respond to. Didn’t hear from him the next day (Thursday) nor did I reach out to him.
Yesterday I decided to reach out to him myself and texted him. We had a conversation, but now I’m wondering about the fact that he hasn’t really initiated anything since the day after our date. I don’t expect someone to text me constantly, especially this early, but I also don’t want to be the one keeping things going if he’s not that interested.
Would you assume his interest has faded, or am I reading too much into who initiates? Since I reached out yesterday, should I just leave it alone now and see if he contacts me next?

A year or two ago? I'd say any feeling have come and gone. I don't think any guy is going to be ok with dragging thigs out that long. I'm sure that boat sank at the dock and he is dating others now. Time for you to move on too.
If he was interested in you he would show it. It seems like from the beginning you weren’t interested and brushed him off a bit so maybe he just figured that you’re not interested so that made him to not socialize with you as much. If there’s no action then you’re wasting each others time. If there’s no spark then tell the truth.
You know, you can talk on phones. Jeez!
Hey so your supposed to have another date set up with either him or someone else. If he doesn't text you in a week he's not interested
Actions speak louder than words and he does not appear to be interested in you or he would be doing something to show it.
Do not overthink it. Maybe he is not as interested in imitating a text as you. Do you see the relationship going anywhere? Is he dating others also?
He probably is busy texting the other ten girls he matched with.
If he won´t take initiative, he´s a waste of time.
Busy?
