I don't think it is the best way to find a girlfriend or boyfriend. I hear that you have a limited time to talk to someone before you have to move onto the next candidate.

What can you say about yourself or hear about the person in like 2 or 3 minutes? Not much really and certainly not details that those people are not willing to tell on a show like speed dating.

You are basically relying on external queues which say strictly nothing about a person's character or personality but that are just willing to show only the best part of themselves to potential candidates.
