Once. Freshman year in college I had a friend that was a commuter and he lived in the city. He and his girlfriend wanted me to meet a girl that they knew. So on Saturday night they pick me up in my dorm and we go to a restaurant to meet her. She was already there and she was fairly attractive. We started talking and I told her I was in Air Force ROTC and wanted to be a pilot She was a hippie and she thought I wanted to bomb women and children. My friend thought it would be funny if they left me there alone with her. It took a few minutes before we figured out they left. She told me she was leaving. I asked her if she could give me a ride back to my dorm. It would have been a 5 mile walk in the freezing cold and I only had a jacket. She still refused so as she was driving off I jumped on the hood of her car and held on. She drove through the parking lot a couple of times trying to shake me off but I had a good grip. Finally she stopped and let me in the car. We had a quiet ride beck to campus and I thanked her before I got out. There was no second date

not an arranged date either, but something close to it

this dude, friend of mine liked to date since he didn't have a girlfriend so a couple of times ended meeting girls who were nice and bit more reserved and SO... they would only agree to go out with him, as long as her BFF could come over, and of course he had to bring someone as well to, let's say... entertain her and also to get an idea of "what kind of friends are your friends"

and so... more than once, a couple of times I ended up in double dates of some sort, lmao... and he would never give me a heads up either, so I was stuck with it

I can't say this is my preference nor my favorite thing ever but, at least these two times, they were a good time, and no big deal, lol
