Polls: Dating

So I've gone on a few dates with this guy - he's nice, funny, smart, attractive, respectful, and he's a college graduate at age 21. Frankly, we have some chemistry, and he meets all of my criteria. He's kind of shy, so although he's asked me on several dates, it seems unlikely for him to push for anything further.

We met about a year ago, but I was in another relationship, and we were just friends. We had gone on a date beforehand.

Our fifth date is scheduled for tomorrow (July 10). My friends are asking whether or not I want to date him long term, and... I don't know. I guess I'm comparing him to one of my exes, who seemed kind of perfect for me. Some part of me just keeps holding back. On the other hand, if he's not a guy for me, who could be?

Should I pursue a relationship with him? Just see where things go? Or is my hesitancy a sign that he's not right for me?

So whenever my boyfriend and I go out to eat we have tried to split things, If its more than $20-$30 he will sometimes look at me and ask if I want to pay or ask "what should we do" He has paid for things but its for the small things. He's the one with the full time job and I'm getting there to get a job. I have discussed al of this to him and it has gotten better but i still find i'm paying for expensive things. When it comes to gifts he does spend money on me but when it comes to going out he seems to be really cheap. For example: when we went to the movies I paid for the tickets and he paid for the snacks. He ended up going to the game with a friend when tickets were cheaper. So basically i have noticed a pattern of whenever its more than $20-$30 max he will look at me to pay. I am totally down to split things but it's never made me feel "special" when it comes to him taking the initiative especially him with the job and me without a job. I just don't feel special and it feels like he doesn't want to spend money on me which he has but not to when it comes to going out. Is it normal to feel this way or am i being a "diva"?

(His a friend of mine before anyone says anything. I'm worried his going through something but don't want to jump to conclusions, his profile used to be filled with things about him...)

I’ve been chunky, slim and currently slim/thick. No changes in the amount of attention I get from guys, on and off dating apps for years. I’m at a point the past few months where I check the app/swipe on profiles/send msgs maybe 2-3 times per week. I really don’t believe dating is this hard for the average woman, most women don’t really have to work to find a guy they like. I get matches/msgs but they fizzle out and I’ve had more bad “dates”/video calls than good. I’m almost thirty and accept that if I’m this old with no success, maybe it’s a sign to toss in the towel and accept it as it is. I’ve been told I’m cute/attractive, I use the apps because guys never approached me in person. At the back of my mind it’s a “not worth it” dialogue & don’t really have the desire. I really don’t think there’s anything wrong with me, it just hasn’t happened for me. Can confidently say I’ve never been approached or went on a date with a guy I really really liked, I’d rather be alone vs settle I feel like I could’ve settled if I wanted but not worth it.

What would you say that is? Let's say you've recently just met and one of you asked the other out and you agreed to meet up for a date on the weekend (seriously just an example).

I personally hate the idea of a handshake. It's like you're on a business meeting or something.

It is hard to say what you can do without making them feel uncomfortable, that is a FACT but I think a greeting with a genuine smile while complimenting them "You look lovely" (or something like that) with a light kiss on the cheek is the BEST... at least for me.

I'd definitely appreciate that more over a handshake lol

I think a hug is maybe a bit too much.

If a guy or girl you were interested in had no friends or was considered a loner would you still date them? Yes, no, or does it depend and why?

Imagine that you are over at her house on a date, and she walks into the kitchen, grabs a large cup, pulls her pants down/lifts her skirt, and releases a mighty stream of her warm, salty piss into the cup, and then leaves it on the counter, to dump out later. She makes no attempt to hide it from you or even turn her back. You see the urine pouring out of her crotch.
When you ask her about it, she says "that's just how I pee", and tells you that it's more convenient and she thinks it's funny
