Went on two dates with a girl I met online. After the second date she tells me she just wants to be friends. I tell her sure, and told her to hmu if she wanted to hang out to put the ball in her court, assuming she would not. However, she actually does, and we message regularly and meet up here and there, strictly as friends.

i just reconnected with a girl I knew from college, and we’ve both decided to give dating a shot. AITA for wanting to fade the friendship with the girl I met online? I don’t really to put in the effort for another friendship, especially one with a girl I barely know. Again, I thought she was hitting me with the let’s be friends line to let me down gently, and wouldn’t actually message me again.

Like they were your age, but you thought they were 5 years younger than you, or if you were 30, and they were 23, but looked 19, if you were 35, and they were 27, but looked like they were 22, etc

There have been occasions with quite successful women who make very nice livings, who evidently did not want to talk to me again after that, and they really did not make any serious effort to split the bill, and seemed perfectly content to let me pay for it. I hate buying stuff for people who don't care about me. I find it very frustrating. I'm a very generous person if someone does care about me, but it makes me furious when I feel I am taken advantage of in some way.

Iam moderately attractive person in my community. But I have been asked out by some attractive people in real life and Online for relationships, But sometimes get rejected by Average or below average people who look for just sex.

On this apps, as i could see, im attractive than 90% of guys. and maybe I get less rejections. But getting rejected by people less attractive than us hurts a lot.

I heard a trend in dating world called auto rejection. Thats like rejecting people who are better looking than we could get. Is that true? I won't do that, especially when the other person show some interest. I said yes to this people most times but still they want to block me after seeing my pic. at least they could say the reason and leave.

People seem to be discouraged for some reason when they get called "nice, and kind" by someone., especially someone they are interested in

At first you might not see anything attractive physically about them but once you really get to know them and feel something for them you might then start to think they do look attractive.

do you think this is true for you? can an attractive personality make you find them physically more attractive? or no

The opposite might be true for people too. where they might look attractive at first but then you find out they have a real shitty personality so then they start looking uglier to you.
