Trending & News Well, I am. But sometimes we need to evaluate why we don't need all people we know to be there in our lives for every breath we take, in every minute we exist.
It's fine to have a few people who value us as we are. They come and go, according to their lives. Maybe it's not because of you at all. It's just the way lives are.
As my personality type is introverted, I know it's not easy for extroverts who enjoy being surrounded with crowds. I miss some moments with lots of people as well. But when I have to work and plan on things, or right now... I prefer to be alone, and this is great. I mean if you have your own world. You have a list of things to acheive in your life. It's less likely to worry about others.
Just to be sure you always speak with kindness to others, be helpful and honest. People will never leave you alone if you say you'd like their company.
Have a good day.
Thank you for the MHO. 😊
I find that after the age of 18, having friends did not succeed in taking away my loneliness and not having friends did not make me feel lonely. My loneliness or lack of loneliness revolved entirely around how closely I was following the teachings of the bible and how much I sought the spiritual virtues of life. If you look at my stalker who impersonates me online every day, he/she clearly has a huge void in their life and they have hundreds of people on their friends list.
of course! get to know yourself and you'll see why. time to do some internal healing of that inner child.
Finding Christ helped, learning and healing wounds helped, developing more confidence helped. Ultimately, learning to care about others made the difference and that was inspired by finding Christ.
The real issue is what emotions are in control of us. Love should be the driver and what we want. But sensitive people are easily hurt and so other emotions can rule... shame, fear especially... but many others. And so the cycle goes over and over in this fallen world.
Sadly I know a lot of girls’ that do that , thinking grass is greener on the other side and not being content and happy with what she has right in front of her , and they wonder why they get cheated on or left for someone else and continue having failed relationships.
Yes , I agree men do it as well the bottom line is for any relationship to survive , both partners’ need to choose each other , not the other way around , if you can’t choose your partner , don’t expect them to choose you , Relationships are a choice , if you want love to grow , you both have to choose each other or it will not last period. What you don’t want your partner doing to you , has to be the same boundaries for yourself as well. We can only give what we hope to receive , it won’t always be perfect because none of us are perfect people , but when you learn to prioritize your partner the same way you want them to prioritize you that’s where love grows , Remove selfishness for each other and your relationship will have a way better chance of surviving the long haul

Sometimes we push people away because we are scare to get hurt, be close to others, be vulnerable, or it’s our trauma response. Maybe you can try reconnecting with those people. Or maybe you can take this time to reflect, let yourself be okay receiving love and new people in your life, and let yourself be able to connect with others that you couldn’t before. :)
Imagine life as a personal journey, like a unique book. When we constantly compare our chapters to others’, seeking approval from their story, it’s like trying to rewrite our book based on theirs. Embracing who we are, appreciating our own narrative, brings the joy back to our story without relying on others’ scripts.
I used to kind of be like that. It's taken me a really long time to get to a place emotionally where I can accept that I've been surrounded by a lot of really mean people.
I've definitely pushed people away for being too warm for me... it kinda makes me uncomfortable sometimes.
Well, I already know the reason why it is very tough for people to stay in my life for a long time.
I know the reason is given how I am as a person. The way I take my decisions etc.
Ironic you bring this up. I’m talking to a beautiful young lady right now who seems like she’s really into me. It almost too good to be true yet I’m nervous it is too good to be true.
What if that person did horrible things to you. Are we still obligated to maintain a relationship with them.
I'm alone, but I genuinely don't believe it's me that's pushing others away. Might be my own delusion though
I do usually push people away, but many times I don't make the effort to build that relationship.. And neither do they..
I don't**..
Sometimes I push people away and not realise it like friends, but when it comes to potential romantic relationships I push people away knowingly because I don’t feel good enough for them.
Yes. It’s self sabotaging on my part. Because I was hurt so bad and then when I have something good, I ruin it.
That's a you problem.
But that you realize it, means you are aware.
Yes. I have trust issues.
It also doesn't help that i have to remind people that i exist. If they dont want me around im not gonna bother asking to be invited
Yes but I push people away for a reason. And my gut ends up always being correct
No, but you should stop doing that to people you want in your life.

I am very lonely but I dont push people away, my problem is that I'm shy and rarely go out
Pushing people away how? Like choosing to not interact or talk with them or you mean like with relationships?
I feel for me personally it's the tone of my voice , or body language gestures that makes certain people uncomfortable or defensive with me. It's depends really on the situation you're in tbh.
I’ve been this person before in my life and traces of it still linger. Counseling helps.
no. pushing people away is my coping mechanism. i want to be alone most of the time.
Exactly my current situation.. I have reasons to do so.. still , it feels just as bad..
So many say yes but do they really have that much self awareness?
Being alone gets addictive over time and you lose desire to connect.
Nope , I don't have that problem. Sounds like you have issues and don't like yourself
no but i seen that happen to a lot of people
Id rather push people away and be lonely than be bullied and ostracized and picked on and made fun of at others expense.
Fuck human beings
OH DEFINITELY
Every girlfriend has cheated on me... I'm the common denominator so it must be me...
Yeah, it's an awful cycle
No. I don't feel like that.
yeah it's somethin
