I've asked this question previously in a slightly different form , I voted " yes " ( although its tounge in cheek really ) , I'd like to have her in the closet wanting for those times when all I need is affirmation.

But , quite seriously I believe this kind of stuff will evolve so well , that at some point , might be 25 years from now , who knows , it will basically be impossible to tell the robot from the genuine human , just like in the movies , this stuff is seriously going to happen , its no longer Sci- fi.

It's not going to be a wife/husband, it's going to be an advaced AI-robotic housekeeper capable of having a chat. Still, I might go for it. No intimacy would ever happen, even if such an option would be there (and knowing our society, there would be), but otherwise... I kind of fancy talking to some chatbots and I'm kind of into technology, so having a robotic housekeeper capable of holding a conversation would be an enticing idea.

For now, there is no chance for such a spouse. Chatting, even with language models, can be infuriating. And existing robots still have problems with movement accuracy when moving freely.

I will wait for some upgrades :D

No, even if I am big into AI and know how to make chatbot girls because of my AI Hobby that's not a replacement for the real thing. Making AI prompts is just a fun hobby but that intimate telepathic connection you can't have with a robot, you need another soul for that.

@aceleon No its not an illusion, I experienced it first hand in a reproducible way with my ex. We explored with it a lot, but it only became obvious that was what was going on since we had a LDR. I have reproduced telepathy with other people since, but I can't just do it with everyone since I am a natural receiver. If people are senders or going trough something intense I can pick up on the feelings, but I can't do it with random people on command.

The thing is that its very rare knowledge, there have been studies on it that confirm it but the consensus is that its fake. And I can completely understand why because it takes place at a subconscious level making it very close to your imagination and without someone capable of doing it able to confirm it for you its basically impossible to find out unless its very obvious and you find it out by accident like it was for me.
