Guys, when you are on the prowl, looking for a potential dating partner, do you want to find a girl who has

low self-confidence, because she will try harder to please you,

quiet self-confidence, because it is usually easier to co-exist with such a woman, or

a woman who is cocky and arrogant, because a strong woman is sexy and perhaps will be a fiery vixen in bed?

I asked a question about whether you view yourself as a big prize in the dating world

and had some conversation with one female user about whether women prefer men who lack confidence, who have confidence but are quiet, or men who are arrogant and cocky. She suggested that women prefer men who are cocky and arrogant. If that is true, it is a bit of a surprise to me. I promised to make it the subject of a question I would post soon, so here it is. Ladies, what is your preference?

They can both be bad in their own way but you can only pick one.

If you are dating to find a long term partner, I think dating requires a healthy balance between self-confidence and humility. It is much easier to maintain standards and boundaries if you don't desperately need validation from others, but when excessive self-confidence is placed on display, it often looks like arrogance. . . and that is quite unattractive. So, how do you see/evaluate yourself as a potential partner for the opposite sex?

Imagine an individual that was an exsmoker and exvaper. Would you have a problem with that?

I'm currently unemployed, ( quit my last job), I have a good bit of savings to last me a long time, I live with my ex ( together for 7 years), but she's out of the house a good bit of the time

I'm starting my own business, and my mom recently past away. Me and my ex are on good terms, but we both don't want to get back together. Should I entertain dating at all? or wait until I'm on my feet again? ( I do work odd jobs from time to time)
