I am breaking up with a man because the only reason I am dating him was due to manipulation. I have had a lot of people bringing me to my senses, we have only been dating a few days but I have literally had breakdowns about how it even happened. He pretty much told me he had no reason to live if he couldn’t have me, he turned to drugs because I stopped talking to him and stuff like that, while I was drunk and vulnerable. He was also drunk so I don’t think he was purposefully manipulating me, but then again there have been times sober he has said similar things like “The only way I would have another heart attack is if my heart was to break again, and well we both know there’s only one way that would happen” which was referring to me. Or just remarks like that. I have been in a manipulative relationship before and I know I can’t do this again, so I am breaking up with him, I just need to figure out how, would it be wrong to redownload tinder before breaking up with him?
Also I am scared once I do break up with him he “won’t allow me to” if that makes sense. I think I trapped myself making this decision but again I felt like I didn’t have a choice…

30F this is happening more and more over the past couple of years. If you want to meet up, why do I have to text you when I’m available? Since you’re initiating, shouldn’t you ask for my number or another platform to communicate on? You don’t even answer my question in the last message, just jump straight to demanding that I text you first. I’m not saying I won’t take initiative in the “dating” game, but why are men expecting me to text them first? Again, when they’re the ones asking to meet up in the first place? This is when I normally stop replying, this didn’t happen as much maybe 3-4 years ago.

Personally I preferred to date and marry a man of the same race as me because I heard they’re more accepting of a woman’s imperfections, especially body hair. I had seen a number of them date hairy girls who are hairier than me since I only have hair on my underarms and pubic area. When it comes to interracial dating between Caucasian men and Asian women, I never seen any of those men date hairy women. I don’t mean to stereotype as it doesn’t apply to certain races since the opposite can happen too. It’s way easier to get along with someone of the same race because we have the same culture. Dating someone from a different country and race means higher chances of cultural clashes and disagreements. If I couldn’t get a man of the same race as me I will no choice but to pick man of a different race

I’m a simple woman. All I wanted is s** and true love I don’t need designer bags, sports car, a mansion, credit cards, anything that is luxury because why? Because money can’t buy happiness and I know this as someone who used to own a Chanel wallet ($920 in my country’s currency because I bought it in Paris) only to realise it’s just some overpriced lump of leather meant to degrade quicker with use. I can afford fine dining if I want to but it’s not practical so I would choose to go fine dining every 8 years using my own hard earned money of course. I will not expect my man to buy me gifts on Valentine’s Day as I would rather spend it with him at a park. In my country many men are single because in my country here in Asia (not saying all of Asia as not all are the same) women expect men to be wealthy, meaning the ability to afford a condo, sports car, tons of cash, owns credit cards, a extremely expensive big house which only the elites can afford. I’m not saying all women in my country are like this as I personally met some women whom are down to earth but sadly those women are rare like precious gems in a world of plain stones. Materialism is a huge thing here because society and social media shaped women’s perception of a successful man.
