Its "hellooooo" according to my arab friend but its not like when you use it to greet someone its like when you are on the phone with someone and you wanna make sure they are still there. And he says they use it all the time when they wanna start a convo. Its not a greeting just a socially acceptable way to see if that person will text back right away (so they can start the convo and get into the topic they wanna discuss with that person).
