I don't think it has much to do with your looks but more on your aura. There a variety of strippers, some people may even distinguish as unattractive. It's all about your confidence and sexiness. If you go on stage feeling ugly it'll show and those horndogs in the audience aren't exactly going to make you feel much better. You have to take that spotlight by the hand and own it.

Unattractive means nothing all by itself. Unattractive is always 'to whom.' If I see somebody unattractive to me, I would avoid looking at her strip tease. If you see somebody unattractive to you, you will turn away. And these people will often be quite different.
